My name is Shanne Marie Estacio. I am twenty seven years old and I live in Cardona Rizal, Philippines. I come from a family of 7 which includes my parents, Enrique Estacio and Jocelyn Estacio, an older brother, Ervin John Estacio who is working in Kuwait as a kitchen helper in a restaurant, a younger sister, Kate Beatrice Estacio who goes to high school and my two son Marshall age 8yr old and Sebastian 5yr old both studying. As mentioned, I am mother of two children and the decision to go au pair has been difficult but necessary. As is obvious, we are a closely knit family as we look to and depend on each other for both physical and emotional support. Since Iam a single mom, things have been a bit strange but we get by on a day to day basis. While I pursue my dream of working in Abroad, Marshall and Sebastian will be at home at my parents’ place as that is the only home they knows and loves. Due to my present job as a call center agent, I am away from home a lot especially during night time and I am hoping that this is Providence’s way of taking care of things should I need to leave on their own for a longer period of time. And since I am a single mom, when it comes to taking care of children I definitely assure that i will take good care of the children since I already raised 2 kids by my own given me sufficient experience and skills of taking care of children between ages 0 months to 12 years. I can control and care for children, get them ready for rest periods, assist children with homework, arrange and serve healthy meals, disinfect bottles, plan formulas and change diapers for kids, take a trip with family and help with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.. I also understand the needs of a children especially on moral support and how to talk to the children and right food to eat. Before, I worked as a Care Giver for 8 months and had the opportunity to learn greatly from this position. I am required to provide direct patient care to the residents of the facility and I am confident that I do my job well. Since I lived with grandparents as a child, I know just what it entails to look after the elderly employing compassion, understanding and patience. Working with people to ensure that they lead a dignified life is now my life’s purpose. I am presently looking for a live in arrangement with a host family in any country with whom I can work for a minimum of twelve months. I am comfortable looking after children between the ages of six months and ten years and the elderly as well.
