Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Samantha, I am 22 years-old and currently completing my last year of undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Ottawa. I am studying part-time (12 hours a week) and have been a nanny for a family for three years. I am currently working for them part-time as well (18-20 hours a week) but am looking for another part-time nanny job mainly for weekends and, upon discussion, weekday mornings or evenings. I truly enjoy going to work every day to spend time with the children I watch. I have experience nannying 50 hours a week during the summer, during which I prepare all their meals, plan activities and outings, and do household chores such as laundry and basic maintenance. I am a very active person and enjoy taking kids outdoors in general. Whether it be playing sports, bike riding, or simply going for walks, I enjoy being active and getting outside. Furthermore, I have a strong appreciation for music and art, and love being creative and coming up with new and exciting activities. I feel as though I have extensive experience as a nanny and, more than anything, I have a true connection and care for the children I watch. Three years ago I signed up for a nanny profile and received a reply from a family that lives close by. After interviews and meetings with them and their two girls they decided to hire me and I\\\\\\\'ve been working for them ever since. I truly enjoy going to work every day to spend that time with their girls, now aged 6 and 9. I watch them part-time through the school year (after school and the odd evening) but in the summer I am with them from 8-6, Monday to Friday. I prepare all their meals, plan activities and outings, and do household chores such as laundry, assisting with bedroom cleanlng, kitchen tidying and basic maintenance. I feel as though I have extensive experience as a nanny and, more than anything, I have a true connection and care for the children I watch.
