My name is Melanie van Empel. I am a 30 year old female, with a ton of child care experience under my belt. My passion is working with children. I love being there to help them grow and learn. It is so rewarding to me to assist them with milestones in their lives. I am very outgoing, and am not afraid to get dirty. I love having fun, but know when to be a friend or be the care taker. I love doing arts and crafts and can come up with some very creative ideas. I have had a lot of experience with many different ages of children for many years. I hope that I might be the perfect addition into your household. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I have worked with ages varrying from infants right up to 11 years old. I was in a toddler room for 2 years, and have been with a before and after school program for 9.5 years. I have had to create program plans, and come up with fun activities for children of many ages. I've done progress reports, and love to communicate with parents about the childs day. I also have my Food Handlers certificate and CPR/First Aid. I do work full time Monday to Friday, but if you ever need extra hands after 6 pm or occasional weekends, please let me know!
