Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

My name is Karda Rolland-Berge, and I am a recent graduate from Concordia University. I was born in London England, grew up in Vancouver, BC and I am currently living in Montreal. I graduated with a focus in Anthropology looking at poverty and inequality among children living in Brazil. I have always loved working with children and I have lots of experience taking care and interacting with children of a variety of ages. I have nannied in the past and I love the job! I attended the Waldorf School in Vancouver for both elementary and high school and I really gravitate towards this type of education for the child. The focus is on the \\\"whole\\\" of the child in their development, with a focus on creativity in all aspects of life. It is important for the children to experience the world in a hands on way! I have worked with children of a variety of ages. I have experience with children from ages 2 years to 12 years old. While I was in high school I babysat a few core families (usually 1-2 children) both boys and girls. While I was going to University I nannied for one family for just over 2 years and I gained vital experience from childcare to house and animal care. I am now currently a youth worker at Tyndale Community centre where I am putting on a cooking class for youth in the area. It is a joy and a challenge and I enjoy my work there very much. I like to emphasis the importance of healthy and holistic eating. It is extremely important to education children on the benefits of eating healthy from a young age.
