Nanny in Barrie, Ontario

My name is Jacqueline Furfaro and I\'m probably not going to be the typical person applying for the nanny positions. I went to school for graphic design and was fortunate enough to have a job before I graduated. I worked for the company for a year doing the job of my dreams, designing posters. The investor who invested in the company decided to pull his money out and the company went under and everyone lost their jobs. Ive been struggling for 2 months to find work when I saw an ad on indeed for a nanny needed in Barrie. Although it is not what I went to school for I think I would be well suited for the position. Im energetic, outgoing, have a positive attitude and Im great with kids. Im the type of person who looks for the bright side in all situations. Im optimistic, hard working and a fast learner. Im also reliable, trustworthy and honest and understand that when it comes to the care of your little miracles not everyone is perfectly suited. But I hope I can be suited for just the right family. I volunteered at a day camp throughout high school as a camp councillor. I worked with other camp councillors and collectively we were responsible for the kids for the afternoon. Ages ranged from as young as 3 or 4 to as old as 12. We played games, got them lunch and snacks along with being responsible for clean up. Somedays we did crafts others we went outdoors. From May 2012 to May 2013 while working for my former employer, his children were around most of time since the business was run from his house. The odd time, the kids would get left in my care or in the care of another employee where we would play and entertain them for a while.
