Nanny in Whitby, Ontario

My name is Holly and it has been my passion to work with young children ever since I can remember. My mom recalls when I was young that my favourite dramatic play time was spent acting as \\\"teacher\\\" to all of my cousins which I insisted would be my \\\"students.\\\" I have since grown up and become a qualified Early Childhood Educator (registered with the college of ECE) and an Ontario Certified Teacher. I have spent a lot of time in classrooms during my placements in university and college. I always rise to a challenge and I am constantly looking to further my knowledge in child development. My enjoyment of learning has led me to many great experiences and it is often contagious, many children that i teach develop a love of learning. I have a nurturing personality as I have been around children in my own family. I now have several nieces and nephews and plan on having my own family in the future. I have worked with children of every age group. I have my ECE background (both a college diploma and a university degree). I have also graduated from the faculty of education at UOIT. I am qualified to teach kindergarten to grade six. I have been responsible for preparing meals, full programming in art, drama, science, gross motor play, fine motor activities and more in a child care setting. However I also have planned and implemented units from the Ontario Curriculum in all subject matter.
