Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Genevieve Roach and I would like to apply for the Summer Student job as a nanny I have lots of previous work as an educator with youth and a diploma is Early Childhood Education from Algonquin College. My whole life I have been surrounded by children and have been volunteering since summer of 2002 with a Musical Theatre Company. Since 2002, I started volunteering for the Musical Theatre Company, and then I got really involved in the theatre company and got really excited and motivated with children so I got hired as an assistant director. I have volunteered at other companies that have to do with youth such as the CHEO BBQ where we fundraise for sick children and then I volunteered also at another musical theatre company because it was my passion. After musical theatre, I went to Algonquin College for Early Childhood Education (ECE) where I got my diploma and is now a certified ECE from the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). After my first placement at The Children�s Place Daycare, I got hired, and worked there from 2007 - 2..., and I got hired from all the placements that I did do my field placements but decided to stay with The Children�s Place. After The Children�s Place, I started working for Churchill Carling Daycare which I worked full time during the summer, and then started school, so I went to part time. I currently have my first aid, CPR �C�, and have level I, and II. I really do enjoy planning and delivering age appropriate activities for all ages in youth. I think that I would extremely enjoy working as a nanny. I hope to learn a lot from them as they would too from me especially having my ECE background. Supervised playing children and disciplined when appropriate. In charge of weekly planning for sensory, art, gross motor, fine motor, and table top toys. Also fed children lunch, and snacks. Full time and substitute Registered ECE Teacher in all ages from preschool to school age. Ages 6 months - 12 years up too 40 children at a time along with other staff. Up too 5 toddlers at once, and then up too 8 preschoolers/school age children at once.
