My name is Gail and I have been working in the child care industry for aproximatley 15 years. I am wanting to remain working with children but in a house/family situation as opposed to the day care setting. I have experience with children aged 0 months through 18 years. I raised two step children from the ages of 3 thru 18 years old, as well as all age groups in the day care setting. I am a creative/craftsy indivudual who loves discovering new places and things. I enjoy watching children learn and grow and enjoying everything their day and world has to offer to them. I have just recently moved from Alberta here to Ontario to be with my boyfriend and closer to family. I have worked in the child care industry for approximately 15 years. I have experience with children aged 0 months to 12 years in the child care industry. I have been responsible for weekly programming, setting centres of play up meeting developmental growth and weekly themes, teaching manners and social behaviours, interacting and playing with children, preparing and doing crafts with children, cleaning, cooking, interactions with parents, etc. I have also raised 2 step children from the ages of 3 to 18 years as well. I have not only been a staff in a day care but have also directed a day care where I was responsible for the above as well as receiving and inquiring about payments, showing and explaining the day care and its philosophies, paper work, hiring and training staff, etc.
