Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

My name is Emily Isabelle, I am a 22 year old student in the process of completing my Bachelors degree in Sociology at Concordia University. I am an International Student here from the U.S. embarking on my last year of University. I have lived in the downtown area of Montreal for 4 years now. If this were not my final year in University, I would return to the U.S. to Camp Downer to serve as another year as a camp counselor. Unfortunately while I finish up my last few credits, I will be unable to return. For this reason I am hoping to continue taking care of children here in Montreal this summer. My passion is to help and care for others, this is why I have chosen the field of sociology. Nothing gives me more joy than taking care of children and watching them learn and grow. I believe my experience at camp, being responsible for dozens of children at a time, has prepared me to nanny or babysit for your children. Nothing is more fulfilling than ensuring a child is safe and happy, and that is what I intend to do. I have been babysitting my younger brother since I was 13 years old and my love for taking care of kids really grew from watching him. I enrolled in and graduated from a babysitting course at the age of 14, in which I learned all of the safety necessary for childcare. I babysit for family friends and neighbors all throughout high school. For the summers of 2011 and 2012 I worked for 8 straight weeks as a Camp Counselor at Camp Downer in Vermont. I spent 6 days a week for 8 weeks per summer supervising and teaching hundreds of kids from the ages of 7-16 years old night and day. I received certification in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding.
