Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

My name is Emily and I am moving to Vancouver, B.C. to attend John Casablanca\'s Institute of Applied Arts. I am coming from the U.S., Milwaukee, Wisconsin specifically. I am looking for a family to help out throughout the week when I am not in school. My school schedule is full days from Thursday through Saturday. So Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are open! I would love to find a family close by the school that I am attending, or anywhere within my living place. I have a great deal of experience as a nanny. I have a year of experience as a full-time, live-in nanny for twin girls. They are 3 years old and I worked with them since they were two. They were born very premature and they still have eating complications. I have helped them to eat regularly, though they do have g-tubes that are frequently in use. During my year with them, I spent 50 hours with them every week. I bathed them, fed them, loved on them, played with them, taught them educational concepts, and much more! The twins also have a baby brother and sister, who are also twins. Occasionally I fed and babysit them as well. After working with the twins for a year, their parents put them in school and I began two new Summer nanny jobs. The first job requires me to take care of three girls, ages 3, 5, and 9. The three year old has down syndrome and requires constant attention, love, and affection. I am working on potty training her this Summer, as I have potty trained toddlers before. The older girls are very helpful and sweet. The three of us do a lot of different activities together. We like to go to the mall, to the pool, play in the backyard, and spend time in the library and various parks! The second job is for one 7 year old girl and twin baby boys who are 5 months old. The three of us are very busy! When I am not changing diapers, comforting, and feeding the baby boys, the little girl and I play barbies, sing, dance, and read together. The little girl is very helpful and loves to feed her brothers and try to make them laugh. We all take walks together to the lake and we enjoy spending time outside, whenever possible! Although my schedule is very busy, I babysit frequently for friends, neighbors, and others that I\'ve connected through via nanny websites. I have experience with children of all ages, many with special needs. The special needs children that I have sat/nannied for have had down syndrome, autism, and health complications. The first job requires me to take care of three girls, ages 3, 5, and 9. The three year old has down syndrome. I work on helping her communicate because of her severe speech impediments. While I take care of all three girls, I feed them, occasionally bathe the youngest, and take them to activities and constantly engage them in sports, games, conversation, etc... My second Summer job requires me to take care of 5 month old twin boys and their 7 year old sister. I love caring for the boys and during my time with them I feed them, change their diapers, keep them on their nap schedule, read to them, play with them, and more! Their 7 year old sister is very helpful and when it is not crazy with the boys, we like to play barbies, sing, dance, and read together. Apart from these jobs, I have cared for many other children. I have great experience with children of all ages. I babysit frequently for neighborhood families.
