My name is Emily and I am an Early Childhood Educator seeking a family that will be suit me and my abilities. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program from Red River College in 2011. I have an updated CPR/First Aid training. I also have a criminal record check from 2009 (can update it if families would like, centre I am at does not require an update though). I have worked at a child care centre for 6 years now and have been in both the infant and preschool programs. In the infant program, I became the team leader after I graduated from school and had 4 primary children that I cared for. I did this for 3 years. In the preschool program I have worked with all ages (2-5) but I have mainly worked with the two year old group. I am currently the centre supervisor. I have also worked with school age children while working at a day camp for two summers but also have engaged with school aged children through my friend\'s children. I started babysitting when I was 12 and worked at a daycamp for 2 summers. I have worked with children as young as 4 months and as old as 12 years. In the child care centre, I worked in the preschool program for 3 years (mostly with the two year olds) and then in the infant program for another 3 years. I have changed diapers, put children to bed, help keep infant/toddlers schedules consistent, have done activities and set up the room to be developmentally appropriate for the age group that I am working with.
