Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

My name is Catherine and I love working with children. I am interested in becoming a nanny because my future goal is to eventually obtain a teaching position. I am currently working as a lunch room supervisor for the Toronto District School board. During the school year, I supervise a classroom of approximately 20 kindergarten students over lunch period. My responsibilities include utilizing various strategies to maintain a safe and positive lunchroom environment. I am also currently a tutor for the Book Smart Tutoring Agency. I have previous experience tutoring students from kindergarten to Grade 8 in all subject areas, and students up to grade 12 in English, History, and the Arts. I have been tutoring since 2005. I also currently volunteer for the Girl Guides of Canada as a leader and have been for 4 years. I have also volunteered in various classroom settings, over a span of 10 years.
