My name is Ashley Maloney, I am currently 29 year old with a daughter and son myself, I now how difficult it is to find either child care or want someone to have more one on one time with your child. I believe that I am very patience with children of all ages, enjoy spending time outside with children and encouraging children to promote their own independence. I currently have my food safe certificate, and am fully first aid certified with infant CPR and AED qualifications. I also have my Early Childhood Educator Assistance certification. With my schooling we learn to support many children at one time, as many as 11 children at a time. Although with the support of fellow staff I have been in a situation with we have had as many as 25 children in the center age ranged from new born to age of 11 however I do love all aged. My duties within practicum was do plan and assist in their daily activities such as outside time, art. I was also responsible for preparing snack, assisting children in having nap time and solving minor disputes between children. On top of my practicum experience I also have a daughter of my own who is currently 6 almost 7 years of age, and a son who is almost 3 years of age. I have also worked in before and after school care for 4 years now. As much as I love my time in child care I am currently looking for something that may allow to spend some more time with my children and have them socialize some more with other children.
