My name is Allison, last year I graduated with distinction from the Early Childhood Education program at Conestoga College. I have a ton of experience with children, both professionally and personally. I absolutely love being in the child care field and strive to be a very responsible, fun and entertaining caregiver. I currently nanny for a family 2-3 days a week, but beginning in September I will be available full time. I currently nanny a 6 month old, 2-3 days a week. I recently returned from Ireland where I was a live-in nanny for 4 months. I cared for two children, a 1 year old and a 3 year old with autism. I graduated with distinction from the Early Childhood Education program at Conestoga College. During my 2 years in the program I completed 4 field placements. My first placement was at the St. Jacobs daycare in the preschool room. My next 3 placements were completed at the Elmira Children\\\'s Centre in the Toddler, Preschool and School Age rooms. I also completed 2 co-op placements in high school at the Elmira Children\\\'s Centre and in the Kindergarten and Grade 1 classrooms at St. Teresa of Avila School. I have volunteered as a soccer coach for a team of 6 year olds, a group leader at Vacation Bible School, a \\\"strong start\\\" worker at Floradale Public School (strong start is a program that helps children who are struggling with reading), and as an ECE in the kindergarten room at Floradale Public School. I have also been babysitting for families in town regularly for the past 10 years. I also have 6 nephews and 2 nieces with whom I am very close. They range in age from 4-10 years old.
