My name is Aletta and I am currently living in Toronto, Ontario working as a flight attendant. Working as a babysitter would be the perfect job to go along side my current job as I have a lot of free time during the week and on weekends and of course...I love to work with children! I have a broad range of experience working with children, from a snowboard instructor, playleader, daycare helper, and a volunteer for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of London. Through these experiences I have developed extremely effective communication skills and a deeper understanding up children and how to interact with them. Having the opportunity use some of my spare time working with your children would bring me great joy and I cannot wait until the fun begins! Summers of 2010, 20..., and 2012 I worked as a Playleader for the City of London, where I worked with a group of up to 30 children from ages 5-12. My duties included creating and following daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules that promoted physical activity, literacy and healthy eating. Additionally, I worked as a Snowboard Instructor in London, Ontario teaching adults and children of varying skill levels how to snowboard. I had to ensure that students progressed in a safe and fun environment. Finally, while attending McGill University I worked at the Student Society of McGill University on-campus daycare, where I helped the daycare workers prepare children for outdoor activities and throughout mealtimes.
