Nanny Job in Penticton, British Columbia

My daughter is 14 years old. She has anxiety disorder and does not attend school full time. She has an adapted school program and only attends school for 1 hour a day from 10am - 11am. She needs driving to and from school. She is not able to cook for herself yet, so preparing breakfast and/or lunch will be involved. She also needs support in her exercise routine, so a daily walk, yoga, or swim would be required. I am looking for someone part time. Monday -Thursday 8am-1pm or 9am-2pm. Wage increases are available every six months. I have to travel about 3 times a year for 2-4 days at a time. I am hoping whoever becomes our caregiver can work during my travel times. A increased salary would be available during my travel. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience or understanding of anxiety disorder. My daughter is 14 years old. She has clinical anxiety disorder/panic attacks. Her anxiety is kept under control with medication and she gets counselling/therapy once a week. You can meet her and never know she has a disability. She is quite a regular little 14 year old girl most of the time, except she is prone to panic attacks and has phobias. I am only about 10 minutes away, if she has a panic attack I can come home from work. Her panic attacks usually last about an hour long. Her heart races and she shakes and sweats and her throat feels like its constricting so she can\'t talk during a panic attack. If she needs to talk, she\'ll write on paper or use a hand held device. After an hour or so she falls asleep -as it exhausts her. When she has a panic attack, she just likes it to be still and quiet and she doesn\'t like to be touched. I will fully explain her disability and special needs to whoever is hired.
