Nanny in Barrie, Ontario

Hey parents! My name is Krista and I have 15 years of experience with kids of all ages. I've worked in daycares, school programs, as a nanny and I'm a Mom of a beautiful 19 month old girl. I'm also CPR and first aid trained, have a drivers license and am a registered childrens nutritionist. I'm looking for a family who will be ok with me providing care in my own home or for half days in their home where I can bring my daughter along. I love to teach through play and experimentation. We read a ton of books around here and are almost always outside. I'm big on creating fun activities that include as many senses as possible and incorporate things like counting, colours, letters, etc. Into every day life. For example - my 19 month old can count to 10 in both English and Spanish, can recognize most of her letters and knows all of her colours and basic shapes - without me sitting down to teach her any of it. If I care for your child in my home i can provide healthy snacks and lunch and we have a backyard with a little pool and swingset/slide. I also live a 5 minute walk away from a park.
