I am currently a second year Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology student at Brock University. I am an enthusiastic and patient person with great communication skills. I love working with kids and I believe that I will be an inspiring and encouraging leader for them. I hope to have a future career that involves working with kids and this position would be a great opportunity to get additional experience. I have had experience working as a kids summer camp counsellor, and as a kids soccer referee. I have also had plenty of volunteer experience such as helping ESL children once a week to participate in fun activities with their families, going to St. Francis of Assisi elementary school to supervise their homework club, and volunteering at the annual children’s Christmas party at HATCH. These involvements have helped me demonstrate my abilities of being patient, kind, hard working, organized, and responsible. The experience I have gained thus far will help me if I get a nanny position because I have the capability to lead kids, make sure they’re safe, and make fair, appropriate decisions. I truly believe that this job will provide a wonderful opportunity to use my various interpersonal skills in a positive, effective manner with the children at the camp.
