Hello Beautiful Humans :) My name is Carmen and I am a Mom to a wonderful 13-month-old daughter. I am on an extended Maternity Leave from my beloved career as a Special Education Teacher for children ages 3-6 years old as I am not ready to leave my Little One yet. I am just too in love with creating fun days for her. I am looking to see if there are any families in need of part time help with their kiddo(s) as I would love to welcome a little one (or two) into our home to love and care for as my own while you are needing the care. I have a passion for creating age-appropriate crafts, sensory activities and games (I have quite the stash from my 9 years of teaching) and spending plenty of time outside visiting playgrounds in the area and going on walks to explore the great outdoors. I am very active and love to get down on the ground to play, dig in the mud and be silly while providing safe boundaries and following a routine that best fits your Munchkin(s). We have a safe, clean crib that can be used for naps and I am happy to either provide meals for your Little One or feed them the meals/snacks you provide. I have my CPR Certification and a current Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check. I have a sweet 8 months old boy who spends Monday's with us, but other than that my week is very flexible (I am also open to an open/drop-in as needed schedule).
