Hello! Thank you for choosing my ad! My name is Jenny, and I'm a 20-something year old mother. I'm interested in finding a part-time nanny job. I was working as an early childhood educator for the last three years before getting accepted into university for my bachelor of child and youth care, I'm finished my third year and into my fourth into September. I've already found employment as a child and youth care worker with a group care agency, but I’m currently laid off. I have completed a course called Learning Language and Loving It in the past that taught me about language delays in children and how to work with them. I have also taken many training courses through the institute of child psychology, and training sessions through the U of A, as well as monthly training sessions at my old job when I worked with special needs children. Because of this, I specialize with expressive, and receptive speech delays in children. I have experience with children of all ages, and all walks of life, and I am capable of working with all types of needs. I have cared for children with Autism, ADHD, and high needs, just for example. I’m an attachment-based teacher, and love and hugs come flowing out of me non-stop. I believe that all children need love to succeed. They all need to feel liked, wanted, and special. I ensure this by always holding them, sitting together, giving encouragement and praise, giving lots of hugs, patting backs at naptime, and always talking in a soft voice even if I’m feeling frustrated. I love children, and connect easily with them, because I care about the proper development of their future. I believe that I’m gifted with children because I understand them on a deep level. I change the situation from them living in an adult world, to me living with them in their kid world. I love teaching, and it is my passion.
