Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello!! My name is Keiara, I'm 28 years old. I have my level one certificate in childcare, from almost two years of Child Studies at Mount Royal University. I got first aid level C when I worked a summer at the YMCA child minding room! I am looking to start part time nannying or babysitting (10-25 hours a week) immediately! I currently serve for 15-25hrs weekly at a popular restaurant in the city most evenings. I am looking for a hourly wage if 19-25$ depending on what is needed of me and how many kiddos I’m taking care of! I receive my schedule from my serving job every Thursday evening around 5-5:30pm so we can coordinate what days are needed for the upcoming week! I have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings off with occasional shifts scheduled those days around 4-5pm so those are the mornings I am hoping to do some childcare! I have my license so if you need me to drive the kiddos in the family car I am able! I’ve driven a van a few times in one of my previous positions so I’m a bit experienced with van driving! I took French for almost 10 years from elementary to middle school and occasionally do refresher work on Duolingo! I absolutely love working with and caring for children. I've been told my whole life I have a knack for it. I live for their smiles and laughter, watching them progress and grow in any way gives me the hope and feeling I'm doing something right in this crazy world. I babysit here and there for family and friends and I worked one summer at the YMCA daycare and development centre and I loved it. I wanted to try a more personal take on childcare something with less going on making it easier to focus on the children I’m working with.
