Full or part-time spot available in quaint LNR dayhome in Fairfield. In operation since October 2019, and with 11 years of childcare experience, my dayhome is ready to open its doors to one more little one! I currently have two wonderful 2.5 year old girls in my care. We have a rather relaxed schedule throughout the day, which promotes more personalized care for your children, and encourages kid-led play, lots of outdoor time, and the ability to prep fresh and nutritious meals as well. The dayhome is located in a wonderful neighbourhood, only a couple blocks away from the beach along Dallas Road, and just a short stroll from Beacon Hill Park. There are many small playgrounds within the neighbourhood, and the home itself is bright, sunny, warm, and inviting. We spend most of our time outdoors, rain or shine, and have eco-friendly toys, art supplies, puzzles, books, and musical instruments within the home. I like to think of our house as less of a traditional 'dayhome' and more of a 'home away from home' for the kids I look after. We maintain a very active and healthy lifestyle (as I have a background in holistic medicine), and I prepare fresh, homemade, local/organic food for the children daily. The girls still have naps every afternoon, usually between 1-3pm, so depending on age, this will either remain nap-time, or 'quiet time' dedicated to reading, colouring, and quiet play. A note on payment/scheduling: A permanent spot in the dayhome would cost $20/hr, which includes homemade organic meals and snacks (and farm-fresh milk!) throughout the day as well as any expenses related to outings. All hours are recorded (rounded up or down to the nearest quarter-hour), and invoices are sent out via email at the end of every month, which is due on the last day of the month. You will also be sent a receipt after completing your payment, which you can utilize for tax purposes. In terms of scheduling, the dayhome is open Monday-Friday, from the hours of 7am-5pm. We are ready and very much looking forward to welcoming a new friend! Ideally this spot would be filled by someone within the ages of 18 months and 4 years, but we can be flexible for the right fit! Please don't hesitate to send a message with any questions you may have. I can be reached on here or via email at [email protected]. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Mariah
