Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi, I am looking for casual evening and weekend babysitting, preferably in the woodbine or nearby area. As child I grew up in a larger family with many younger siblings to look after, because of my family background I have been babysitting for others but family since I was twelve. Although sibling care may be different than a nanny job I am well versed with keeping kids active and happy. Now I regularly work with children as a nanny and in a day home. Along with simply caring for children I can keep kids moving and learning though out the day with many activities such as arts and crafts, reading with them and even small theatrical exercises. The outdoors are also priority to me and within the permissiveness of the parent I could bring children swimming, to the library and generally being outdoors, such as, playing at the park and going for walks. With the caregiving of children comes a lot of mess, cleaning, dishes and any other chores can be left with me as well. I consider myself to be thorough with any job so that the atmosphere around children will keep positive and help to build responsibility. I can also help any school-aged kids with their homework and other school related exercises. I have a valid drivers license and completed CPR and first aid training.
