Busy Family in Whitby ON! Our shared custody family is seeking a part-time caregiver starting the beginning of February! A VERY flexible caregiver or babysitter with full-time access to a vehicle and ability to occasionally work overnights is the main requirement. Our caregiver will be working occasional mornings and evenings in North Oshawa and one week in Whitby. HOURS: The position will average 15 - 30 hours per week over the course of six months. There may be split shifts, which is the primary reason we are looking for a flexible caregiver. ABOUT US: We are a very busy, enthusiastic family of 3. We have two very high-energy boys (5yrs and 9yrs). Our eldest son attends grade three and our youngest attends Senior Kindergarten. A caregiver with a license and access to vehicle is a must. I am a professional actor and my job asks me to travel at times and then be home for a few days straight, at times. The key to our family and schedule is flexibility, flexibility, flexibility! We are never boring, that's for sure! YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise/care for child in our home and occasionally assist during family outings. Bathe, dress, feed, plan/prepare/serve nutritious meals/snacks. Organize during mornings, take to/from school and daycare (walk/drive) assist with homework, participate in fun/educational/healthy activities eg. walks, playing at parks, games, crafts, singing, reading, play dates & other outings to provide amusement & exercise.
