Nanny Job in Guelph, Ontario

We are a young family looking for a reliable, energetic Nanny to look after our happy toddler starting in September. Our parenting style focuses on sticking pretty strictly to a routine, but providing a lot of flexibility within that structure. We are looking for someone who has a similar outlook. There is the possibility of full or part time hours to be discussed. We would also like to discuss possible nanny sharing with other families we know. We would require some flexibility in hours given the nature of our jobs. The responsibilities we are looking for in a nanny include: • Being active and playing in a variety of settings (e.g. in home, walks, parks, children’s programming around the City, etc.) • Putting down for naps • Feeding lunch and snacks • General hygiene (e.g. changing diapers, change of dirty clothes, etc.) • Some light housekeeping (details to be negotiated) We would like to hire someone who has previous experience working with children and genuinely likes kids. A child care certificate or degree is a plus. We have two dogs, so some experience and comfort with dogs would also be preferable.
