Nanny Job in Kitchener, Ontario

We are a busy family with a baby boy and two girls. Our five year old is active and attends kindergarten full-time. Our three year old attends a morning pre-school program as well as speech therapy classes. Our baby is just starting to crawl and is getting into everything. The children enjoy crafts, practicing reading/writing, and playing dress-up. Dad owns his own business and works late hours. We are looking for a part time nanny who loves children, has lots of patience and humour, is interested in the child's intellectual development, doesn't mind working flexible hours, and is able to be professional at all times. The duties of this position are: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infant and children, Prepare infant and children for rest periods, Help children with homework, Organize activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments. My 3.5 year old has speech challenges and a genetic condition called 22q11 Deletion. She has a very mild form of this condition and so far, speech difficulties are her main challenge.
