Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

My name is Sarah Nesbitt and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I recently graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a BA in Criminal Justice, and I work as a direct support worker for Equal Opportunities West, which is a day program for adults with disabilities. I work Monday-Friday days and would be available for early mornings, or evenings after 3pm. I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages, starting with teaching swimming lessons at the YMCA-YWCA for 5 years. My job required me to make lesson plans for children and teach them how to do a range of techniques from blowing bubbles, to doing glides, to perfecting their strokes. I had to ensure children were learning but were having fun at the same time, while also staying safe in the water. I also worked at a daycare part time during the summer in 2012, where i worked mainly with 2 and 3 year olds. I would play with the children as well as get them ready for naps, change their diapers, and make them lunches. On occasion I would work with babies aged 0 to 1 year, as well as school-aged children. I also was a nanny for a family I met on Canadian Nanny for about a year and a half until the family moved to Toronto. The family had a one year old daughter who I would watch between one and three days per week for several hours at a time. I would also make lunch for her and sometimes put her to bed. I love kids and hearing the interesting stories and games they come up with. I have my CPR-C and Standard First Aid up to date as of April 2016. I have current criminal record check and adult/child abuse registry checks. I have worked with children of all ages, and I look forward to hearing from you!
