Nanny Job in Etobicoke, Ontario

We are an Etobicoke based family with two girls (5 and 7 years old). We are looking for a caregiver. Ideally a live-in caregiver because parents have irregular working hours. Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day Anticipated Start Time: As soon as possible Location: Toronto (Etobicoke) Work Setting: Employer's home Language: Must speak English Transportation: Close to TTC. Perk: Caregiver would have access to a car if she has a drivers license. Start time: 7am to 7pm Days of work: Monday to Friday Days off: Saturday and Sunday Security: Basic security clearance Holidays: Typically three weeks paid per year depending on parents vacation schedule Skill Requirements: 1) Education - completion of high school 2) Experience - experience taking care of kids would be helpful, but since the girls are 5 and 7, we don't need anyone who has infant experience. 3) Housekeeping - perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, keeping the house tidy, keep kitchen clean, keep bathroom clean, maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home 4) Meal Preparation - prepare kids breakfast and lunch for school and dinner during the week for family 5) General - Assume responsibility for the household in absence of parents KEY: Our girls go to school during the day but we need help to get them ready in the morning and need someone to receive them when they come home from school and take care of them (help to make food for them, help with homework, play with them and help to make sure they get ready for various after school activities). The home does not have any pets. We are not smokers and as such looking for a non-smoker. Qualified candidate must have good and verifiable references. Recent police clearance. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Honest, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, flexible and shows initiative. Must be warm, loving, kind and genuinely fond of working with kids.
