My name is Misty Blue, and I am 30 years old and mother to a sweet and bright 3 year old girl. I have been caring for children part-time since I was a pre-teen, and became a mother at 27. I have known since I was young that I want to devote my future to the care of my children and other people's children. I'd love to help a family out with my skills. I am a good cook, and I believe in healthy choices and balanced meals made with wholesome ingredients. I also believe in hands-on learning and play, and minimal "tv time". I think outdoor play is important, and so is trying new things/experiencing new things. I think this is extremely important for little ones and their learning. In our home we love to learn through play. I own my own face painting company and have been painting faces for kids parties and events for many years. I have no qualms getting dirty or on the ground with the kids to interact with them as best as I can. I think art and music are important for a child's creative development. I am very flexible in what my duties would be. I own my own vehicle, have a valid driver's license, and am willing and able to run errands for you if need be. The only thing I ask is that I can bring my daughter along with me. She gets along with kids of all ages, and is VERY well behaved and respectful. I have police clearance.
