Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I’m available to occasionally nanny during the evening and weekends, since I work full time as a classroom teacher. I still enjoy being with the younger ones (birth to 5 years of age). I’ve kept my ECCE licence active. Currently an intermediate teacher, and qualified to teach the primary grades and kindergarten. I also work in a daycare during the winter, spring and summer breaks when I’m not booked up (still active in the ECCE field). I come with a wealth of experience if you’re in need of someone for your little ones. I can be more flexible during weekends and the summer months. *Working in daycare as an Early Childhood Educator since 2007 *Certified ECCE Teacher with 15 years of experience with children birth - 8 years old *Have my Infant/Toddler certification and Special Needs *Graduated with a Bachelor in ECCE and Bachelor in Education (valid ECE and BC Teacher licence) *Emergency Childcare First Aid with CPR, and Foodsafe *Coaches cross-country, track, and volleyball *OFA level 1(First Aid attendant at my school for the past three years) *I enjoy taking the little ones on transit to the Vancouver Art Gallery, free events, and parks. *I can drive your children to and from places for extra-curricular activities with your car. I’ve been driving for 10 years and have my own vehicle *I have travelled abroad with a family for nannying *I have experience with children who require extra support *Experience with twins and newborns ***I would love to look after your little ones FT, but I can only be available for PT or occasional care (weekday evenings and weekends during Sept-June). *****Summer 2023- Will casually be working in daycare when I don’t have families to care for.
