To all families, Like so many people on this site I would like to offer my services to care for your children- I know and understand that they are the most important thing to you in the world. I never take the responsibility lightly when I am caring for your loved ones. I do however know how to have fun, and I enjoy spending time and being active with children. I am also a licensed paramedic who works with the British Columbia Ambulance Service, so if something were to happen, I am an excellent person to have around in a crisis situation (here is hoping that that never happens!). I look forward to hearing from you. I worked as a nanny taking care of a 1 year old boy for just under a year. I took care of him during the day while his parents were at work, my duties included everything from feeding and changing to taking him to the park or other outings. I also work as a paramedic with the BC Ambulance Service and have had a lot of exposure working with children in stressful settings. Of course I sincerely hope that my first aid skills would never be needed, but they are certainly there in case of an emergency.
