And if I don't have the experience on a specific need that you require, then I will be more than willing to learn. - Works to take care of healthy born babies after childbirth, the ill newborns or those who have had a premature birth, and cases wherein newborn babies have serious problems like respiratory disorders and low weight at birth. - Adapt and act quickly to tackle the difficult situations and have good communication skills and presence of mind which are useful for conveying the right information related to health issues. - Does tasks such as taking the baby's temperature, changing the baby's diaper, feeding, giving medicines, close monitoring of the babies condition, blood transfusion, inserting IV's and changing them at the right time, supplying oxygen at times of need, ensuring proper use of incubators, ventilators and feeding tubes. Provide emotional support to the family. - Maintain an inventory of all medical supplies and equipment, chart the patient's progress, and report concerns to physicians. - Supervise and care for children - Help children with homework - Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development - Read to children - Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas. - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
