I have a lot experience with child care especially for my siblings who are all currently under the age of nine. Since they were newborns, I did as much as I could as their older sister to be supportive. Once I became a certified babysitter, I have been given larger responsibilities since they became toddlers. I am grateful to play a role with their development and to witness their growth to this day. I have provided them care and support while our mother returned to work full time until I departed for university. I even worked with children of different ages outside my home. I have volunteered at a local daycare, church nursery and with children of friends and family at events such as birthday parties and picnics. I am passionate about these things, because I enjoy being responsible yet playful. It is rewarding with the respect that you gain and the growth you see within children. I have been praised by parents for my reconciled ability to be organized and to enthusiastically engage young minds. Caring for children is something I continue to do since I highly value the importance of nurturing childhoods.
