Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Sitter required for occasional position in Upper Beaches, Toronto. Sitter will be taking care of 1 child, age 4 . Your responsibilities with the child may/may not include: reading, arts/crafts, interaction/playing, feeding and bedtime preparation. Other duties may include light cleaning and some light meals. Sitter is required to have 2 years of experience as well as CPR, First Aid and English (Spanish, German or French is an asset but not necessary). Attributes such as a sense of humour, loves children, nurturing, caring, responsible, fun and creative are a plus. Hours can range from as early as 5pm to as late as 3am. Overnights may be requested (but not until there is a good bond) on Fridays or Saturday nights but you are not REQUIRED to do them - its an bonus to us if you can. The days would normally be Saturdays but there may be an odd Friday or even weekday evening required. The STARTING wage is $8-12/hour (depends on experience and qualifications) while he is awake (up to 9pm or after 8am). Once he is put to bed (around 9pm) the STARTING rate would drop to $6-10 hour (up to 8am) - basically you're making money while you sleep. You can earn a tip if place was kept the way we left it or better (picked up toys after use, cleaned dishes used and loaded/run dishwasher after eating)...and an even bigger tip if you preformed extra cleaning or did any (requested) light cooking....TIPS CAN RANGE FROM $5-$20.
