Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Sitter required for an occasional position in Toronto. Sitter will be taking care of one eight-month old child. Responsibilities with the child include: baby care (playtime, changing diapers, bathing and dressing, playtime, meals, naps, activities, outings), participating and supervising activities with baby and taking baby to play dates or community programs. Other duties include child-related light cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping. Sitter is required to have at least 5 years of experience as well as current CPR and First Aid certification. Completion of a training program in childcare or related field preferred. Attributes such as being responsible, calm and patient, good decision-making, creativity and knowledge of child developmental stages and a sense of humour, are a plus. Hours vary and may be weekdays or weekends. Pay will depend on experience. Our baby is a curious and energetic little boy who is eager to learn about the world. He is sociable and friendly. He is already crawling and he loves to play and eat. He also enjoys being outdoors. We don't have other children but we do have 2 cats.
