Nanny Job in Whitby, Ontario

We are searching for a reliable, self-starting caregiver to help us in our busy household. We have 3 boys (14, 10, 7) all of whom are in school full time. Ideally, you would arrive for about 1 pm (Monday to Friday), get things organized for dinner, tidy up a bit and be here when the boys arrive home from school, at about 2:45 pm until our arrival home for about 5:30 pm. Your main responsibility would be for the younger 2 boys as the oldest will not be attending the same school this year as his younger brothers. Getting homework completed, getting the boys organized for their evening activities and light housekeeping (kitchen area/boys laundry, vacuuming etc) are the main tasks requested of our candidate. This position is roughly 20-25 hours per week (and we are flexible with times/days if necessary). We are also open to negotiating more hours if you are interested in more housekeeping responsibilities. We require someone who can drive as the boys have activities in the late afternoon, sometimes before our return home. We would have a vehicle available for these tasks. The boys are fun, energetic and love to play outside and with friends, but also like to play card and board games. They are not difficult to manage, we just feel that having someone here when they get home from school keeps the house running smoothly and gives us flexibility during a busy school year. We have had nannies/ au pairs for the past 4 years and they become part of our family very quickly. We are not interested in sponsoring at this time, however, we are open to creating a live-in position for the right candidate and have a finished basement for this purpose.
