Nanny in Fredericton, New Brunswick

I am in the process of finishing my B...... degree at St. Thomas University and will be graduating in July 2016. I have experience working with children at the Family Resource Centre of Charlotte County. While working at this location, I planned fun and educational programs for children ages 8 months to 12 years. It was also a responsibility of mine to help prepare snacks for up to a minimum of 10 children each day. I also have experience working with children at the Volunteer Centre of Charlotte County where I helped children and adolescents from ages 5 to 17 learn how to be responsible volunteers and help locals at the community Food Bank. I was also the supervisor of a program at the Volunteer Centre of Charlotte County which provided healthy snacks to children at the community public swimming pool during the summer months. As supervisor, I helped young volunteers become active participants in the healthy wellbeing of people their own age within their community. The more opportunities children get to laugh, smile, and have fun each day can help them grow emotionally, socially, and physically which is one of many reasons I enjoy working with children. While working with children I ensure that they have a safe environment in which they can learn and have fun. I also enjoy working with children because it brings joy to my life and makes me smile as I watch them take pride in themselves as they learn. As a nanny, I am prepared to not only watch children, but am also prepared to interact with them through play time and learning, including various activities both indoor and out. I am also willing to offer services in light meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and assisting with homework. I am willing to work with children from ages 3 and up, and who are potty-trained.
