Nanny in Tiny, Ontario

I am not currently seeking a Nanny position as I am doing a final teaching placement in Toronto this fall. That said, I would be interested in a winter position (winter 2021/202...) I am open to travel if the family is looking to leave the city. I would require separate living accomodations. The family looking I am looking for is a heart-centered family: compassionate, kind, and understanding. The family is pro-outdoor play and values the environment and our connections to it. Structured nap times are consistently encouraged. My commitment is to be 100% present for your children. I am eager to dance, laugh and get messy with your child! (Dirt, paint, you name it!) I intend to build a strong relationship with you and your family. I love the amazing energy that children have and admire their enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. MY SKILLS: Independent & Organized: I am able to work well independently and am very motivated to build a positive relationship with your child. I intend to plan outings daily that will foster positive interactions for the social development of your child. Community/Activity Planning Skills: I believe in getting out to engage! I will plan to have your child be apart of outdoor/community activities at nearby community centers, farmers markets and will use play groups as a means to build community connections through music, dance, reading, etc. Being outside is a time to engage with the outside world and practice positive social interactions! Communication Skills: I consider myself to be a very social and direct person. I address issues as they arise and am always striving to improve my communication skills. Household Skills: I am skilled at cooking, meal prep, tidying, and organizing. Count on having a neat and tidy household. Personal Interests: I am artistic and self-directed. I enjoy collaborative community work and am hoping to engage in a Community Mural Art project within my local community this Spring, 2019.
