Nanny Job in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Looking for after-school care (M-F 2:30-5:30) in Clayton Park / Rockingham to start Sept 2022. Previous work experience caring for children required. Non-smoking, cat-friendly home. Looking for someone who is reliable, physically active, and enjoys being outside, to care for a fun 5 year old. Someone fun and creative, who would come with their own daily plans for projects, play, and crafts to keep my daughter busy and learning (we have lots of supplies!). She loves going for nature walks, reading books, playing vet, crafts, baking, and all things related to cats and dogs! We value family time, healthy eating, imaginary play and have no daytime screen-time. Job expectations: child care, child's meal preparation, and household cleaning related to the child. Compensation: to be based on work experience. Hours:2:30-5:30pm M-F. My family's health and safety is a top priority. MUST be double vaccinated and comply with public health recommendations during the COVID19 pandemic. Require experience with young children as well as first-aid and child CPR. Criminal record check and child abuse registry check will be required prior to start date. Preference for own vehicle. Must have reliable transportation in winter weather, cannot arrive late. The nanny must be reliable, punctual and a non-smoker. English proficiency required. Require at least 2 references from previous childcare positions.
