Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Job description: We are looking for a caring, open-minded, and experienced nanny for our 7-month old child in our home. Work hours are 15-20 hours per week, weekday mornings. Pay rate is $16-18/hour depending on education and experience. Requirements/ Experience: • Polish language speaking preferred • Minimum 1 year experience with infant childcare • Early childhood education training or other relevant childcare certification preferred • Physical ability to care for a young child • CPR/ infant first aid certification • OK with a dog in the home (dog walking not required) • Criminal record check required • Able to provide 2 workplace references Job responsibilities: 1. Provide care for a 7-month old child with a focus on creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment 2. Provide basic care, such as feeding, dressing, hygiene, diaper changes 2. Tend to the emotional well-being of the child and support social development 3. Supervise activities at all times, both indoors and outdoors 4. Participate with the child in nearby community programs and activities 5. Communicate with the parents regularly regarding the child’s care
