Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi! Our family is looking for a thoughtful and conscientious full-time, live-out care giver who is available in the next couple weeks to take care of our 2 children and help around the house. My husband and I work long and unpredictable hours at times and both travel for work, so we need someone who can be flexible and is willing to work long hours and stay over with the children at times. Our daughter is 5 years old and will be in kindergarten full-time in the fall. Our son is 2.5 years old and will be in full day preschool on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the fall. We are hoping to find someone looking for a long-term placement. On a typical school day, we need someone to get them ready for school in the morning (7:15-7:30ish to ~9am), tidy the house, do laundry, cook dinner and pick the kids up from school 4:00pm/4:45pm, feed them dinner and stay with them until we get home from work ~5:45/6pm. On Mondays and Fridays, my son will be home with you. If the children are sick, we will need someone to spend the full day with them, and if we are both travelling, we will need someone willing to stay the night with them. During this summer, their grandma will be staying with us, so we can be more flexible with hours. We live in Harbour Sq, which is right next to the ferry terminal. It's about a 10/15 minute walk from Union Station, but most of the walk can be done through the PATH. Or if preferred, you can take the 509 or 510 street car one stop from Union to Bay and Queens Quay. Our building is just across the street.
