Job Posting – Part-Time Caregiver Job Description: Part-time job for enthusiastic, kind caregiver! We have twin 4-year-old boys who are entering JK in September, and we need aftercare for them. You job will be to pick them up from school each weekday Monday-Friday, during the school year. Duties Include: • Pick the children up from a local neighbourhood school and walk them home • Provide a calm, relaxed and loving environment for them to unwind after a long day at school • Serve the boys an after-school snack • Read with them • Facilitate play Qualifications and Skills Required: • A solid understanding of early childhood development is a MUST for us • Kind, warm demeanour • Patience • Good communication skills with both children and adults, talking to the children with respect • Maturity and reliability Job Details: • We live in the Danforth neighbourhood, with extremely easy access to the school and our home via the subway. • We will require aftercare during the TDSB school year, TDSB holidays will not be required. (We will not require care over March Break, Christmas Break and all Statutory Holidays.) • Ideally we would like assistance with walking to school in the morning at 8am some mornings. • We look forward to seeing if this job is right for you!
