Hello, I am in need of a caring, patient, and diligent individual to assist my 19-year-old son, Connor, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, during his bedtime routine. The responsibility starts immediately and is a part-time position. You are required to assist every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings. The exact hours will be discussed but note that it will account for less than 20 hours per week. Key responsibilities include bathing assistance, grooming and dressing assistance, as well as toileting assistance. It is essential for the applicant to possess kindness, patience, and understanding towards Connor, while prioritizing his comfort and safety each night. Please note that it is necessary for you to have a valid driver's license, as it is required for you to use your own car. This is a liveout position; therefore, you will not be required to stay in our home.
