Nanny Job in East Gwillimbury, Ontario

As per above, I have two children that require a nanny for after school care. The kids are 5 and 8 and I will be looking for a nanny to care for them, engage them in activities, maybe dinner depending on my schedule. For the month of march we will need someone just about every day after school from about 3:15 to 6:15; and two days of the march break. After march we will still require after school care as well, but will be in an as needed basis... Likely 2-3 days a week for between 2and 3 hours at a time. We like for the kids to get fresh air, and or participate in fun activities. Also; anyone who has experience with children with special needs is ideal, but if not, must be comfortable and confident and willing to learn! In addition to this position we are also hoping to get to know several candidates that are available on ad hoc occasions during week or weekends to help with my son when we go skating, day ski trips etc. so if you are just interested in ad hoc sitting; we would love to hear from you! My son has a global developmental delay. He is very happy and mobile and loves to do everything that a typically developing 5 year old does. he is an extremely happy and loveable little guy. He walks/swims, bike rides etc but but is alos non-verbal. He does a fantastic job of communicating his needs. He does require extra attention and generally someone needs to be with him at almost all times. I will discuss his needs at greater detail when we get to that stage in the process.
