Nanny in Elliot Lake, Ontario

Hi there! My name is Kait Bedford and I have over 15 years experience working with children both for private families as well as in nurseries, day cares and camps. I am relocated to Elliot Lake from Ottawa last spring, as my parents were elderly and not well. I was raised in Halifax, and spent some time travelling out west and across Ontario after university (Saint Mary’s). I also am a certified Paralegal after later returning to school in my 20’s. I began my experience providing child care in my pre-teen years at the nursery in church, leading child/youth care programs at the local community centre, and providing private, in-home child care/nannying throughout my years in school. In 2015, I established my own business, providing both short and long term/overnight child, pet & home care services full time. After relocating to Ontario years later, I was able to build up a new clientele there and continue providing my services part time while working full time in my professional field. I have a reliable vehicle and can provide multiple personal and professional references, from Nova Scotia to Alberta, including retired Chief of Police of Halifax (family friend of 40 years) and the Director for Christian Horizons, a local Elliot Lake organization. I am very outgoing, cheerful and reliable and have experience with children of all ages.
