Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

About us: We’re a fun and friendly Italian family with awesome twin boys (who will turn one in January), looking for a full-time, live-out nanny starting in January 2016. We live in a single family home with a big backyard and are located close to Keele and Lawrence, minutes from a bus stop. We have many parks and playgrounds in our area as well as a library and community centre. What we’re looking for: Our boys need someone reliable, energetic, fun and who has experience with caring for multiple children – and like cats since we have one (he's very nice!). We will require an early start (approximately 7:30 a.m.) Monday – Friday but open to discussing the week’s schedule as we have some flexibility thanks to expected work arrangements and family members able to help out. Our ideal nanny will work with us to create a schedule of activities that combines fun activities with skills development - we would look to our nanny for feedback and suggestions on what the boys do well and what skills they still need to learn. Candidate must speak English well though knowing additional languages is considered an asset. Due to allergies, we can only consider non-smokers for this position. Other duties will include light housework as it relates to the twins (washing toys, doing laundry for the twins, keeping play area tidy etc.), vacuuming, watering garden in the summer, etc. Eventual references and a criminal background check will be required. What we’re offering: Compensation will be based on experience - we ask that candidates include their expected salary when contacting us. Vacation days/pay and sick days will be provided.
