Full-Time, Live-In Nanny/Mother's Helper Position Description: We are looking for a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to our children. We are also looking for help around the house to give us more time with our kids! We are a busy house with lots of bustle. We are looking for someone to help us keep all the balls in the air. Here are the major responsibilities: Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children Supervise the children’s activities Plan and prepare lunches and basic meals for the children Dress the children as needed Place the children down for naps and at bedtime as needed Bathe the children as needed Perform light housework including washing clothes and putting them away, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and helping to keep the house tidy Teach the children good social manners and encourage them to assist with tidying up Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors Help with homework as needed and read with the children Evening and weekend babysitting as needed with notice Job Qualifications and Requirements: High school graduate Experience caring for children Training in early childhood education preferred First aid training and child and infant CPR Car, driver’s license would be an asset Authorization to work in Canada English proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for young children Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision Ability to see things that need to be done and take the intiative
