Nanny in Port Rowan, Ontario

Hello Everyone, My name is Symone and I live in London Ontario. I am a responsible, young adult with lots of child care experience. I am at Fanshawe College for Child and Youth Care and will be attending placement in January. I am fully certified in standard first aid with CPR level C, have an up to date police check as well and a full G license. In the past 7 years I have been a babysitter to families with different aged children. When I was in grade 12 I participated in a group called G.I.R.L.S Power Camp and worked with the camp for three days. During the camp we would lead the grade 8 girls in empowering activities to build self esteem. I will attach reference letter from them in my profile.For two summers I would babysit a boy who was 6. We would go fishing, bike riding, play with ledges and would make activities for him and I to play with. Last June I moved to France to be an au pair to a family with a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and two newborn twins. I lived and worked with them for two and a half months. While there I would drive the kids to and from school, take them to the waterpark, ride bikes and play at the park. I created activities to help teach the children english and learned some french from the kids as well (I have to add I am not fluent in French). A little bit about me! I love animals (I have a cat named princess and a dog named river) and baking (I worked in a bakery in my hometown before I moved here for school). I do not smoke nor do I drink.
