Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Friendly and warm family looking for an experienced, caring, energetic, live out nanny to take care of an infants starting September 6, 2016 or earlier. This is a full-time, long term position based in the downtown area. We are located within a 5 minute walk of the yonge subway line. Our ideal candidate would like to do outdoor, educational and group activities with our daughter. Start time would be 8:30am with some flexibility required for end times as both as both parents are professionals that do not work a set schedule. A typical week would range between 40-50 hours. First aid and CPR training is required. Drivers license preferred but not required. The opportunity for a nanny share, with a like minded family starting in February 2017 is an option and negotiable. Child care duties: - Change clothes, diapers - interactive play with toys, reading stories - meal preparation and feeding - Potty training as required - Daily excursions - going for walks, library, playground and the occasional field trip (i.e. aquarium, museum etc) - Assistance with naps and sleep schedule as needed Household duties would include: - Meal preparation, - Light housework (vacuuming, dusting, etc) - Laundry - Transporting the infant to and from activities - Basic errands as necessary (grocery shopping, etc)
