Employer: William Mensah Ababio and Susuana Kwofie Employers’ address: 41 Brookview Dr., Bradford, ON, L3Z 0S6 Work Location: same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child • Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development • Organize, activities such as games and outings for child • Play with the child • Read for the child • Prepare and serve nutritious meals (feed the child breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) • Supervise and care for child • Tend to emotional wellbeing of child • Take child to and from appointments • Take the child to walks • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant • Prepare infant for rest periods • Bathe, dress and feed infant • Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents • Shop for food and household supplies • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents Requirements: -Education: Completion of secondary school is required -Experience: At least a year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required Salary: $11.40 to $13.40 hourly, 36- 40 Hours per week Benefits: Extended medical insurance Important Information: - The nanny will be responsible for the care of a 1 year-old child. The shifts will be from 7:00am to 7:30pm, three days a week on a rotational basis based on the parents’ work shifts. The nanny will work 12.30 hours a day, 3 days a week; weekend work is required.
